This magazine is helping to supplement the reading program being used in my district. The stories, skills and writing prompts within the magazine are essential in developing the skills my students lack and need for Fifth Grade. They absolutely love the different genres within the magazine. We have discovered events they have never heard of, like \"Death Valley\" and how two women survived being lost within. It has excited them to want to learn and read more.\r\nMy students were thrilled when they first received the first issue. Many had never seen or heard of Storyworks before and were intrigued. The colorful pictures and illustrations captured their attention, and the riveting stories made them want more. I cannot express to you how much this has helped booster their love of reading, but also their curiosity about things that have happened all over the world. I had students come in on a Monday saying that they looked up more facts about the Navajo Code Talkers during WWII after reading the article. \r\nThank you again for your generosity.
