When one of my littles has had enough for the day, it is comforting to hear familiar songs in their home language. \r\nThe students have many opportunities to talk about the stories and songs and express their ideas about the stories. What an amazing donation!! Thank you!! As you can see in the pictures, my kids were thrilled!! \r\nWe presented the items as a teddy bear picnic. We danced the teddy bear dance and then read the story about the Teddy Bear's Picnic. After we got to know our bears, we sat down and ate Teddy bear cookies and drank some juice.\r\nOur blankets, hats, and gloves were an added bonus! They went home at the right time! This weekend we had temps in the single digits! Brrrrrr! \r\nEach item was labeled with the child's name.
