THANK YOU for visiting our page! I have been teaching for 11 years and I teach in one of the poorest cities in the United States. Some of my students have varying learning disabilities and the other half of my students are English Language learners. My students are kind, loving and want to learn, but most lack the academic support at home. My students are hard workers but come to school without the basic necessities of a warm home, food in their bellies, and proper health care. Some students do not have glasses that they need to simply see the board. I work very hard to give my students the education they NEED and DESERVE, but sometimes a lack of funding and resources inhibit my ability to give my students life-long learning experiences. My hope is to be able to obtain resources that will enhance the learning experience for my students daily learning! Thank you so much for your support!
