Having something nourishing available helped them stay focused, energized, and ready to engage in learning rather than worrying about hunger.\r\n\r\nThe surge protectors immediately improved the safety and functionality of our workspace. In a small rural school where resources are limited and technology access can be inconsistent, being able to safely power laptops, amps, and classroom tools meant students spent more time learning and less time troubleshooting. It also allowed us to set up flexible learning stations, opening up more opportunities for collaboration and creativity during class.\r\n\r\nThe guitar tuners were especially impactful. For many students, music is a powerful outlet in a remote community where extracurricular resources are limited. Having reliable tuners allowed them to practice independently, take pride in maintaining their instruments, and experience the satisfaction of hearing their progress clearly. These tools boosted confidence, encouraged persistence, and helped students feel like real musicians. Your support didn't just provide supplies—it helped create a classroom where students felt cared for, capable, and excited to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1756611279423,"projectUrl":"project/a-fresh-fall-start-to-the-school-year/9660844/","projectTitle":"A Fresh Fall Start to the School Year","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Shoemaker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8699241_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1663200317883","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8699241"},{"teacherId":9820894,"projectId":9704653,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity towards my students and my classroom. The resources you helped provide have helped my students visualize the math they are doing, so they can better understand math concepts. \r\n\r\nMany of my students struggle with multiplication and division, and these resources have shown a noticeable increase in their abilities over the past 2 months. My Students have also used the resources to help them with other projects as well. They have used the blocks to make models of ancient architecture, which has had an impact on their understanding of ancient history and their problem-solving skills. \r\n\r\nMy students really enjoy coming into my room and immediately playing with the math manipulatives.
