Our new Special Tomato chair provides additional positioning and support for students who need more than traditional classroom seating. With its supportive design, adjustable harness, and mobile base, this chair gives us another way to help students access instruction comfortably and participate in daily classroom routines. For our students, having the right seating can make a meaningful difference in their school day.\r\nThis chair is more than just a place to sit! It provides opportunities for students to participate in morning meetings, adapted reading activities, hands-on lessons, and small-group instruction while receiving the physical support they need. We are especially excited about the flexibility it brings to our classroom, allowing us to create additional opportunities for students to learn alongside their peers rather than having their seating needs determine where or how they participate. Whether a student is making a choice, interacting with adapted materials, listening to a story, or practicing a new skill, having appropriate positioning helps us focus on what matters most: learning, communication, and meaningful participation.\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we look forward to incorporating this chair into more classroom activities while helping our students build independence, engagement, and confidence. Our classroom is filled with learners who experience the world in different ways, and your support helps us meet them where they are. You did not simply provide a chair; you helped create another opportunity for a child to be included, supported, and successful.
