Our students are greatly benefiting from the earbuds and whiteboard. The ample supply of earbuds has been utilized extensively, and I anticipate their continued use for semesters to come, even in future years. The whiteboard has also proven to be an invaluable resource. Initially, its portability allowed for individualized instruction, assisting students with challenges one-on-one. Now, as we near the conclusion of the program, we use it to track the progress of students who achieve certification and successfully complete the program. The students are enthusiastic about seeing their names displayed on the board, and some have even begun writing their names on it upon completion, before I can even record their achievement. The calculators have also given the students more confidence in their work as opposed to using the other calculators that I had previously. When our 9th- and 10th-grade students first saw the Algebraic Expressions Dominoes, Linear Graphs and Quadratic Equations Games, Order of Operations Dice, and the brand-new Target Math and Algebra Skills Learning Center Games, their excitement was immediate. Several students asked, \"We get to use these today?\"—and their enthusiasm has carried into every session since.\r\n\r\nThese interactive tools are already transforming the way our students learn. One of our first activities was a small-group station rotation using the Target Math Games, which are a student favorite. Even students who typically struggle to stay motivated were leaning in, debating strategies, and celebrating small wins. The games have made abstract algebraic ideas feel more concrete and approachable, and the variety of activities has allowed every learner—general education students, English Language Learners, and students with IEPs—to find an entry point where they feel capable and confident. For many of our students, this is the first time Algebra has felt truly accessible.\r\n\r\nAs we continue building out our Tier 2 intervention program, these resources will remain a core part of our daily instruction. They help us reinforce foundational concepts before moving into more challenging material, and they create a learning environment where students feel safe to take risks and proud of the progress they're making. Your support has given our students more than just materials—it has given them momentum, confidence, and a clearer path toward success and graduation.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and making meaningful learning possible.","fullyFundedDate":1755718843450,"projectUrl":"project/level-up-algebra-targeted-games-for-rea/9354295/","projectTitle":"Level Up Algebra: Targeted Games for Real Growth in Intervention","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rader","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10035194_orig.jpg?crop=1319,1320,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1747236031896","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10035194"},{"teacherId":10035194,"projectId":9355960,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our Tier 3 Algebra intervention students are now engaging with math in a way that feels exciting, accessible, and—most importantly—possible. When our 9th- and 10th-grade learners first saw the Math Rush games, Decimal War, and Fraction War cards, their faces lit up. Many of these students have struggled with math for years, so seeing materials designed just for them—hands-on, fast-paced, and confidence-building—immediately changed the tone of our classroom. What once felt intimidating is now something they lean into with curiosity and even laughter.\r\n\r\nIn our very first session, students who typically hesitate to participate jumped right into Math Rush. They were cheering each other on, racing the clock, and asking to play again. One student, who rarely speaks up, proudly announced, \"Wait—I actually understand this now!\" These games are helping abstract concepts like fractions, operations, and algebraic thinking become concrete and approachable. The repeated practice built into the games allows students to master foundational skills without feeling like they're doing \"extra work,\" which has been transformative for their confidence.\r\n\r\nWe are already weaving these tools into daily intervention time, using them to reinforce skills before moving into more complex Algebra content. As students continue progressing through our Tier 3 program, these games will serve as essential bridges—helping them strengthen number sense, improve fluency, and build the confidence they need to take meaningful steps toward success in Algebra I and beyond. Your contribution is helping ensure that every student in our program has a real pathway to progress, achievement, and ultimately graduation.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and giving them the tools to move forward with confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1755718843017,"projectUrl":"project/pathways-to-progress-empowering-student/9355960/","projectTitle":"Pathways to Progress: Empowering Students Through Math Intervention","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rader","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10035194_orig.jpg?crop=1319,1320,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1747236031896","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10035194"},{"teacherId":10035194,"projectId":9356216,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our RTI conference room has transformed into a space that truly supports the work we do every day for our students. Instead of squeezing into mismatched chairs or shuffling materials around to make room, our teachers can now sit together comfortably, spread out their data and resources, and focus fully on planning the interventions that help our students grow.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite moments came during our first RTI meeting in the newly furnished space. Teachers walked in and immediately commented on how calm, welcoming, and professional it felt. We spent that meeting reviewing student growth and planning next steps, and the atmosphere made a clear difference—people were more focused, more collaborative, and genuinely excited to use the room. Even parents who've come in for meetings have noticed the change and shared how much more invited they feel in the space.\r\n\r\nThese resources are also helping us behind the scenes. With our instructional manipulatives and intervention materials now organized and accessible, teachers can quickly gather what they need and move straight into supporting students. As we continue to meet with families, analyze data, and create individualized plans for students across grade levels, this room has become a true hub for collaboration and student-centered decision-making. Your support has not only upgraded furniture—it has strengthened the environment where some of our most important work happens.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and in the teachers who serve them. We can now model examples clearly at the front of the room, and the students can simultaneously practice and reinforce their understanding at their own desks.
