We use the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) framework to nurture positive behaviors and social-emotional skills. We also have school-wide expectations: Be a good friend, be safe, and be your best. Classroom reward charts serve as a fun and effective way to motivate children to practice and display these desired behaviors. By working towards a common goal and earning a classroom-wide celebration, children learn the value of teamwork and collective achievement.\r\n\r\nSo far, students have earned multiple popcorn parties, Mini M&Ms, mini muffins, and cookies as rewards for working together and showing positive behaviors.
