I intend on buying more, because while these chairs are intended for use at our Esports setups, they move around the room a lot during gaming club. The students can't get enough of them compared to the hand-me-downs that we scavenged from around the building.\r\n\r\nIn addition, you'd be surprised what a refrigerator can do to bring people in to a space! Having cold water has helped to get students in the door, and being a friendly face to provide a basic need has helped grow our program. Not only that, but having cold waters for our students can be gamechanging when we're queueing into a match and I can hand them out rather than committing time and resources to filling bottles beforehand.\r\n\r\nReplacing the Amazon Basics power strips that we had borrowed from IT has been paramount in maximizing peripheral use and growth of the library of accessories at our disposal.\r\n\r\nAt the end of the day, Triton is doing Esports differently than most schools are right now. While having a dedicated teacher who may not be as knowledgeable is a great start, I'm an industry veteran with competitive experience who has created a space that students want to be in here at Triton. They aren't going home and navigating conflicts of schedules. They come to room A213, log in, and lock in. That is all thanks to your donations.","fullyFundedDate":1760622686588,"projectUrl":"project/vikings-esports-and-gaming-club/9732707/","projectTitle":"Vikings Esports and Gaming Club","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Langlois","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10270304_orig.png?crop=400,400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758303043312","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10270304"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_60709","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":538,"numTeachers":58,"percentFrplEligible":30,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":87,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"9.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":84.8,"schoolId":60709,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Triton Regional High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Triton Regional High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/triton-regional-school-district/triton-regional-high-school/60709"}
