Your generous donation of the alphabet and social-emotional learning materials will make such a meaningful impact on my students each and every day.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, many students are learning foundational skills that will support them throughout their entire educational journey. The alphabet materials will help strengthen early literacy by giving students engaging, hands-on opportunities to practice letter recognition, sounds, and beginning reading skills. These early building blocks are so important as they grow into confident readers and writers.\r\n\r\nThe social-emotional resources are equally important for my students. They help children learn how to identify their feelings, communicate with others, build friendships, and practice positive behaviors in the classroom. For many of my students, these skills are just as critical as academics and help create a safe and supportive learning environment where everyone can succeed.\r\n\r\nYour kindness and generosity help provide opportunities that truly enrich our classroom. Because of you, my students will have tools that support both their academic growth and their emotional well-being. These activities encourage teamwork, creativity, and healthy social interaction, and they've become something my students genuinely look forward to.\r\nThe incentives you helped provide have also been incredibly motivating for them. They have played a huge role in improving classroom management and creating a more positive, focused learning environment. Because of your kindness, my students are happier, more engaged, and learning important skills beyond the curriculum.\r\nI am deeply grateful for your generosity and for the care you've shown toward my students. Our classroom serves students with developmental delays, communication needs, and fine motor challenges, and these books have strengthened early literacy, language development, and social skills. Interactive board books and picture books with clear visuals and diverse characters have been especially effective in building vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence.\r\n\r\nReading has become more meaningful and inclusive in our classroom. During choice time, storytime, and small-group instruction, students eagerly explore the books by turning pages, pointing to pictures, repeating words, and answering simple questions. Many students who previously needed extra encouragement are now more engaged, independently choosing books, \"reading\" through pictures, and sharing stories with peers. Your support has helped create a classroom where every child feels included, successful, and excited about reading.","fullyFundedDate":1767243058500,"projectUrl":"project/books-that-make-little-minds-big/9953787/","projectTitle":"Books That Make Little Minds Big!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Randolph","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4744788_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1504209973052","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4744788"},{"teacherId":10006332,"projectId":9338176,"letterContent":"On behalf of our students and our entire classroom community, I would like to extend my deepest and most sincere gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom. Your thoughtful contribution of scissors for learning, markers, crayons, colored pencils, and T.P.T. gift cards has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our students and their educational experience. Acts of kindness like yours truly remind us how powerful community support can be in shaping young minds and nurturing a love of learning.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our students now have access to essential learning tools that are used every single day in the classroom. The scissors allow students to strengthen fine motor skills through hands-on activities such as cutting shapes, creating projects, and participating in interactive lessons. The markers, crayons, and colored pencils bring lessons to life, giving students the opportunity to express themselves creatively while reinforcing important academic concepts.\r\n\r\nBeyond the tangible supplies, your donation sends a powerful message to our students—that their education matters and that there are people in the community who believe in their potential. This sense of encouragement and support plays an important role in building students' confidence and motivation. When children see that others care about their learning, it inspires them to try their best, take pride in their work, and develop a positive attitude toward school.","fullyFundedDate":1750879974022,"projectUrl":"project/science-creativity/9338176/","projectTitle":"Science Creativity","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Matlock","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10006332_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745893017832","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10006332"},{"teacherId":5703224,"projectId":9570830,"letterContent":"Your generosity has made a tremendous difference in our kindergarten classroom! Because of your support, our students now have hands-on tools that bring learning to life in ways that are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and fun.\r\n\r\nWhen the play-doh, journals, whisper phones, and colorful paper arrived, the excitement was priceless. Little eyes widened, and several students cheered, \"It's for us?!\" They could hardly sit still as we explored each item together. For many of them, having their own special journal and classroom materials made them feel like \"big kids\" and real learners.\r\n\r\nWe have already woven these resources into our daily routines. During literacy centers, students use their journals to draw pictures, practice writing sight words, and simple sentences. One memorable moment happened during our writing block when a student who usually hesitates to write filled her entire page with a picture and labeled every part independently. She proudly used a whisper phone to read her sentence aloud to herself, building both confidence and fluency.\r\n\r\nThe whisper phones have quickly become a favorite during reading time. Students love hearing their own voices as they practice letter sounds, CVC words, and simple patterned books. It has made reading practice feel like a special activity rather than a task.\r\n\r\nPlay-doh has been a powerful learning tool as well. Students use it to form letters, build sight words, and model numbers during math lessons. In one small group, students rolled play-doh into \"snakes\" to shape uppercase and lowercase letters, reinforcing fine motor skills while strengthening letter recognition. The colored paper has brightened our literacy centers. \r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom is filled with joyful exploration, creativity, and growing confidence. Your kindness has provided more than supplies — it has given our kindergarteners meaningful opportunities to practice foundational skills in ways that feel exciting and empowering.
