What may seem like a simple item has already made a meaningful difference for my students.\r\nBefore the rug, whole-group lessons and transitions were a little challenging, as students struggled with personal space and staying focused. Since receiving the new rug, our classroom now has a comfortable, clearly defined gathering space where students can sit together, listen, and actively participate in learning.\r\nI've noticed smoother transitions, increased attention during lessons, and a calmer environment during circle time, reading, and discussions. The rug has also helped create a sense of community. \r\nStudents absolutely loved the rug! They were so excited to sit on it and be assigned an animal or habitat. The rug quickly became an engaging learning tool, especially when students saw it come to life through augmented reality using the app and iPad. This interactive experience increased excitement, curiosity, and participation during lessons.\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and in my students' daily learning experiences. The rug now has a beautiful home in our classroom library, which has transformed into a bright, cozy space for student learning. This area is used for community meetings, whole-class lessons, reading, and even as a sensory space for some of my students.\r\n\r\nMy students were overjoyed to see this lovely addition and were eager to use the rug. It has quickly become a very popular spot in the classroom.\r\n\r\nCurrently, my class is wrapping up their first unit of learning for the year and working on projects to showcase their understanding.
