I have a few students that really love learning non-fiction, so they pick these books a lot! I have used these books to enhance student projects as well. I have used some of the biography books to help with Hispanic Heritage month for students to choose a person to write an essay about and present to the class. I will also be using some for our Black History research and writing project too! \r\n Not only did I choose biography type books, but also science books from National Geographic and The Who Will Win battle books. Several of my students also like animals, so reading The Who Will Win battle books are interesting to them.
