Because of your generous donations, we are able to have a snack every afternoon. This ensures that our students can focus on their learning without the feeling of hunger distracting them. I have seen a remarkable increase in my students on-task behavior in the afternoons and our testing scores have also improved!\r\n\r\nOur students were so excited when our materials started arriving. They couldn't get their new snack buckets in their lockers fast enough and they were so surprised to see all the yummy snacks they had for options! It was so fun to see how blown away they were. \r\n\r\nHaving their own bucket to keep their snacks has given them a sense of responsibility and autonomy which is helping them grow into more independent individuals. I can't wait to see how they will continue to grow in their learning as they no longer have to focus on hunger, but can focus on their learning instead.
