The students are enjoying the flexible seating with the wobbly cushions you helped purchase. The wobbly cushions allow these first graders to get their wiggles out while continuing to learn. This makes a significant impact on students' ability to focus. All it takes is a little movement for them to be able to concentrate. The wobbly cushions provide that. This simple organizational tool has transformed the way we manage materials, complete assignments, and track progress throughout the year.\r\n\r\nBefore using binders, many students struggled to keep track of loose papers, homework, and handouts. Important materials were often misplaced, and students spent valuable class time searching for what they needed. Since introducing binders, each student now has a consistent, structured place for their notes, assignments, and reference materials. This has reduced frustration, increased efficiency, and allowed us to maximize instructional time.\r\n\r\nThe benefits have extended beyond the classroom. Students are learning real-world organizational skills they can apply in other subjects and in their daily lives. They take pride in maintaining their binders, and the clear structure helps them take more ownership of their learning. Parents have also expressed appreciation, as they can easily see what their child is working on and monitor progress at home.\r\n\r\nOverall, the use of binders has created a more focused, organized, and productive learning environment. My students are better prepared, more confident, and more successful because of this change. What began as a simple classroom strategy has become a key component of our success this year. I appreciate you making this happen for our class this year.","fullyFundedDate":1750256215671,"projectUrl":"project/keep-students-organized-and-responsible/9358391/","projectTitle":"Keep Students Organized and Responsible","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Marissa Hall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10030658"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_19493","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":693,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":69,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":94,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":70.8,"schoolId":19493,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Throop Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Throop Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/indiana/paoli-community-school-district/throop-elementary-school/19493"}
