Your support made something truly special possible in our classroom — and the students' reactions said it all. \r\nThanks to the craft paper, scissors, and glue you provided, we were able to bring a fun and creative project to life: students designed and built their own holiday-themed logos using hands-on crafts. For a marketing class, this was the perfect way to blend creativity with real-world brand design skills — and the students absolutely loved it! \r\nWhen the supplies arrived, the excitement in the room was immediate. Students were surprised and overjoyed to be doing crafts in a marketing class — many of them said it was unlike anything they had experienced before. Seeing their enthusiasm as they sketched, cut, and assembled their logos was one of those moments that reminds you why hands-on learning matters so much. \r\nLooking ahead, we plan to build on this project by having students present their logo designs to the class, explaining the marketing choices behind their visuals — colors, shapes, and brand messaging. This will give them the opportunity to practice real-world presentation and persuasion skills, taking their creativity one step further into the world of professional marketing. \r\nNone of this would have been possible without your generosity. You gave our students more than just supplies — you gave them an experience they will remember. Students have conducted experiments on soil composition, and irrigation systems, gaining real experience with data collection, observation, and environmental science. They've also explored engineering by designing trellises, irrigation systems, pest barriers, and even experimenting with different hydroponic setups.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, the garden has given them countless opportunities to practice the scientific method through real-world trials where they can adjust variables, solve problems, and see the results of their decisions unfold in real time. This kind of learning has made science more engaging, meaningful, and empowering for every student who steps into the garden.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting a project that helps our students grow not only as learners, but as curious, capable young scientists and engineers.","fullyFundedDate":1760129933335,"projectUrl":"project/school-garden/9771587/","projectTitle":"School Garden","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jackson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10293402"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_59853","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1091,"numTeachers":56,"percentFrplEligible":74,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":58,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":31,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"19.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":100.0,"schoolId":59853,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Three Oaks Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Three Oaks Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/the-school-district-of-lee-county/three-oaks-middle-school/59853"}
