By using tangrams and magnetic tiles, my scholars are building spatial reasoning and geometry skills by rotating, flipping, and combining shapes. They have also learned that shapes can be composed to make larger, more complex shapes and decomposed to make smaller shapes. The scholars are using the tangram cards to build the image seen and they are also using their imagination to create their own unique images. \r\n Students scrambled to click the translucent shapes together, captivated by the satisfying \"snap\" of the magnets. They immediately began building towering skyscrapers and intricate glowing domes, their faces lit with wonder as their 2D ideas transformed into 3D masterpieces. This surge of creative energy turned the classroom into a vibrant lab of architectural play and collaborative joy.\r\n The classroom buzzed with energy as students unboxed their new magnetic tiles and tangrams. Their eyes lit up seeing the vibrant colors and smooth textures of the fresh pieces. There was an immediate scramble of excitement as they began snapping shapes together, eager to master the puzzles. Students were equally excited to have containers to house their new manipulatives. Thank you for your generous donation! They use the books for silent independent reading, group reading and also for personal space if needed. This will help to improve literacy which is one of our smart goals this year. We thank you!\r\nWe are also grateful for the large area rug which facilitates our morning meetings, large group reading and our projected lessons viewing by the smart board. Students are more comfortable and have enough space. They can also meet in pairs or small groups for \"turn and talk\" sessions and this improves social interactions, thank you.\r\nLast but definitely not the least , the cubbies help with organizing students journals and makes it easier for them to get them when they need them . Having these bins help to make a clutter- free environment which improves positive learning and teaches students to be organized.
