It was perfect timing, as many of them didn't have one of their own. Each box is filled with the same set of crayons, a whiteboard marker, and glue sticks. With everyone organized and ready to go, our transition times have become much smoother.\r\n\r\nThe colorful stacking boards have also been a huge hit! We use them during small group time for both reading and math, and the students love having their own board—especially because they're so bright and colorful.\r\n\r\nWe also received a pink metal cart, which has been a great addition to our classroom. It holds all of our quiet toys, which the students use daily during structured playtime. Smiles spread across their faces as they realized they were going to have something to help keep them warm and comfortable when it is cold outside. \r\n\r\nHaving the opportunity to choose which hat and mittens they would like to have gave them a sense of pride and ownership. Students scanned color choices and got to pick what they would like to have. Many of the students wear so eager to wear them that they wanted to wear them outside that day when it was 75 degrees.
