They can use digital activities to practice reading, writing, and other important skills while working at their own pace. It also helps me give students extra practice when they need it.\r\n\r\nThe new technology is exciting for my students because they enjoy learning on a computer and being able to interact with the activities. I have noticed that some students who may not always be excited about traditional classwork become more interested when technology is involved. They enjoy working together, helping each other, and using the technology to complete their learning activities. It has helped make learning more enjoyable and has given some of my students more confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1786367030518,"projectUrl":"project/support-digital-learning-in-second-grade/10427119/","projectTitle":"Support Digital Learning in Second Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Frazier","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10569212"},{"teacherId":9637218,"projectId":9395897,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, my students are now using our new resources every single day—and the impact is already showing. We've incorporated the materials into our writing block, and one of our first big projects was creating \"Writing Pals Journals.\" Students used the new supplies to practice complete sentences, proper punctuation, and spelling, then shared their entries with partners for peer editing. Watching them take pride in their work—and seeing them use the materials the right way—was a wonderful moment. Several students even said, \"This makes writing more fun!\" as they explored the new tools.\r\n\r\nWhen the resources first arrived, the classroom was full of excitement. Students rushed over, asking, \"Is this really for us?\" and couldn't wait to open and use everything. Their faces lit up knowing that people they've never met believed in their learning. That sense of confidence and motivation changed the energy in our room instantly.\r\n\r\nWe are now using these materials to strengthen our daily grammar practice, vocabulary activities, and longer writing assignments. Our next steps include building more structured writing routines, expanding our peer-editing practice, and introducing small group writing centers. Because of your support, my students not only have what they need— they feel valued, capable, and excited to grow as writers. Thank you for helping create these meaningful learning moments in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758834613782,"projectUrl":"project/comfort-creativity-building-a-safe-sp/9395897/","projectTitle":"Comfort & Creativity: Building a Safe Space to Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Frazier","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9637218_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1734490557778","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9637218"},{"teacherId":9717635,"projectId":9054304,"letterContent":"From the moment the materials arrived, the classroom was buzzing with energy and curiosity. One unforgettable moment was when we unboxed the supplies together—students were literally clapping and cheering as they realized these were their new tools for learning. For many of them, it was the first time they'd had high-quality materials that were just for them, and their faces lit up with pride and excitement.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the resources to great use. Recently, we started a hands-on science project exploring ecosystems. With the new materials, students were able to build model habitats, use magnifiers to observe soil samples, and record their findings in journal just like real scientists. One student excitedly told me, \"I feel like a scientist now!\" That moment alone was worth everything.\r\n\r\nCurrently, we're diving into a research-based project where students are choosing an environmental issue they care about, researching it using our new tools, and preparing presentations to share with the class. These experiences are not only deepening their understanding but also boosting their confidence and communication skills.\r\n\r\nThank you for being such an important part of our classroom journey.
