It was such a happy surprise to get it funded in time!! Having immediate access to printed materials helps me respond to my students' needs in real time and provide engaging resources that reinforce what they are learning in class.\r\n\r\nMy students are especially excited when they see their work come to life on paper. We are able to print student writing, class books, science observation pages, and projects that students can proudly share with their families. For many of my students, seeing their own ideas printed makes them feel like real authors and scientists. It has been wonderful to watch their excitement and pride grow when they hold their finished work.\r\n\r\nThis printer also allows me to create differentiated materials so that every student can practice skills at the level they need. Most of the students who come to the Therapy Room are in kindergarten and first grade. They can only sit in chairs at desks for so long. But, when I looked at the carpet, it was nowhere I wanted to sit and play. \r\n\r\nOur custodial staff is very small (a staff of two) and they have very limited time to spend per room, so we wanted to help them out by being able to vacuum the rug in between the custodial deep cleans. Now we can thanks to you! \r\n\r\nMy students and I truly appreciate the vacuum, and my older students fight over whose turn it is to vacuum!
