It helped many of the outcast kids find a home within a community, where they otherwise would be alone on campus. The students enjoyed planning, preparing, and cooking meals for the back country. \r\n\r\nWe first practiced lighting the stoves and made hot chocolate. Then we went on a field trip to a local park called Concrete Coyote, which when in the park you would think we were in a forested area far from town.
