The addition of the MIDI USB keyboard has opened a whole new world of creative exploration for my students. They've been able to experiment with sounds, compose original music, and bring their ideas to life using programs like Garageband and Logic. These tools, when paired with the keyboard, allow students to visualize music theory concepts, record melodies in real time, and better understand rhythm, harmony, and arrangement. For many, it's their first hands-on experience turning inspiration into actual music — and the excitement is contagious.\r\n\r\nWhat's been most thrilling for students is how tangible the creative process has become. The MIDI keyboard feels like a real instrument and gives them immediate feedback as they play, encouraging trial, error, and discovery. Several students have even shared that they now want to take piano lessons, something they hadn't considered before. One student in particular, who was previously shy and hesitant to participate, has found a new confidence and regularly stays class to discuss music theory. Seeing these sparks of passion and pride grow in real time has been incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students the tools and inspiration to explore music in such a meaningful and modern way. So far it has been a little cold to be flying it outside - however we have a community center in our building which is basically a cafetorium, so we have been flying it in there. \r\nTwo of our students have successfully navigated from the community center, down the hallway and down the stairs, along the lower hallway - up the other end's stairwell - and then back to the community center. \r\nWe are learning a lot about the dynamics of flight - and definitely much hand eye coordination. \r\nThe field of drone operations is an exciting up-and-coming technology.
