Each day a teacher signs up for a slot and sends a small group of students to the library for extra media time that is not part of the curriculum. It is awesome when students, teachers, and myself can find a book in our library that goes along with a weekly theme. \r\n\r\nOne of the students' favorites is \"Little Spot of Emotions\". Each book has characters that represent different emotions such as anger, love, sadness, kindness, scared, calm, and anxiety. Not only are students engaged with colorful illustrations and characters, but the books can also be great teaching tools to help relate to what's going on in our environment at school.\r\n\r\nEven the social worker has borrowed books for her counseling sessions!
