Your generosity has provided so much more than classroom supplies it has helped create a learning environment where every child can feel safe, cared for, comfortable, and ready to learn.\r\nOur school is a Title I school with students from many different backgrounds, cultures, and circumstances. Every child who walks through our classroom door deserves to have the supplies and resources they need to be successful, regardless of what their family may or may not be able to afford. Some of the items we received may be things that our students would never have the opportunity to purchase for themselves. Because of your generosity, those differences did not have to stand in the way of their learning or their sense of belonging.\r\nThe headphones have been especially helpful during testing and when students use technology for classroom learning. They provide comfort for little ears while helping students stay focused and confident as they work.\r\nThe snacks have met one of our most important needs: a hungry child cannot fully focus on learning. When little bellies are growling, we are able to provide a snack and make sure our students' basic needs are cared for before asking them to learn.\r\nThe ice packs and adorable, huggable bandages have also made a big difference. Kindergarteners are busy little learners who love to play, explore, and sometimes take a tumble along the way. Having ice packs available for bumps and bruises and fun, age-appropriate bandages for little scrapes allows us to comfort our students and remind them that they are cared for.\r\nThe Warmies have brought an especially meaningful kind of comfort to our classroom. Sometimes a little tummy hurts because of stress, worry, or simply because a child is having a difficult day. Having something warm and comforting to hold helps our little ones feel secure and gives them a gentle reminder that they are safe and loved at school.\r\nOur dry erase markers are used every single day for practicing letters, numbers, writing, math, and so many other kindergarten skills. They are one of those classroom essentials that seem to disappear almost as quickly as we buy them! Your donation ensures that our students have the materials they need to participate fully in their daily learning.\r\nWhen we opened our DonorsChoose boxes, our kindergarteners were so excited to see everything inside. To them, these weren't simply supplies, they were treasures that made our classroom feel prepared, welcoming, and special. They could see that someone cared enough to help make their school experience better.\r\nYour generosity has helped us create a classroom where our students can learn with the tools they need, have their basic needs met, receive comfort when they are hurting, and feel loved when they need reassurance.\r\nThank you for believing that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. Thank you for helping us give our kindergarten students the joyful and successful school year they deserve. Most importantly, thank you for reminding our little learners that there are people beyond our classroom who believe in them and want them to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1771616086841,"projectUrl":"project/happy-kindergarten/10027530/","projectTitle":"Happy Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sweat","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8584911"},{"teacherId":9325853,"projectId":10181680,"letterContent":"My students were so excited to see the new snacks, Expo markers and headphones! \r\n\r\nThe snacks will help my students maintain energy in the afternoon and help them refuel. Our new Expo markers are put to good use during our morning writing practice and whole group activities on our carpet. Prior to your amazing donation, we were sharing markers and using what little ink was left in them! Our class set of headphones were in the same boat, most ended up broken over the last school year and were not adequate for our learning apps, these new ones will provide all of my students with a better opportunity for independent work. \r\n\r\nI look forward being able to carry these headphones and markers into my next group of students!","fullyFundedDate":1777992779647,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-kids-ready-to-shine/10181680/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Kids Ready to Shine!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McClanahan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9325853_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x0,y98&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1775492303166","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9325853"},{"teacherId":9423721,"projectId":10084265,"letterContent":"This project has been so successful for the students.
