This is one of their favorite parts of the day. I know, because they ask if I'm going to read to them that day. They then get to take a quiz on the books to earn brag tags. Imagine that? They actually want to take quizzes! \r\n\r\nWe have very interesting discussions regarding parts of the books. They predict what they think will happen. We discuss if their predictions were right or if they were surprised by the events in the book. They even make connections to a previous book read!\r\n\r\nIn all my years of teaching, I have found that these books are the key to getting 4th graders interested in reading chapter books. These are the books they check out of the library the most.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping to inspire today's kids, who are all about technology, get interested in chapter books.
