These scissors are used in grades 5-8, which is about 100 students. Each grade has class once a week. \r\nIn the 8th grade, the students made pajama pants for children in need. I am taking them to Mancini's Sleepworld, the collection center. The students are learning about the revolution and how machines shaped the world. The sewing machine is one of those inventions. They learn of its history, its functions and sew stitch samplers before making their own pajama pants. Then, we sew for charity.
