Your support has already made a meaningful impact on our learning environment and on the opportunities available to students.\r\n\r\nThe 3D printer has transformed how we approach computer science and engineering concepts. Students are now able to move beyond theory and see their ideas come to life by designing, modeling, and printing physical objects. This hands-on experience strengthens our understanding of programming, design thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications of technology.\r\n\r\nBecause of your donation, students are gaining valuable skills in 3D modeling, prototyping, and iterative design—skills that are increasingly important in modern careers in technology, engineering, and manufacturing. The printer has also increased student engagement and creativity, encouraging collaboration and innovation in the classroom.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful for your investment in our education. Your generosity helps inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students for future academic and career success. My students couldn't wait to explore everything, and it quickly became clear how meaningful your support would be. One of my favorite moments was watching my ESOL instructional assistant sit with a small group of students, using the activity cards to guide them step by step. What used to feel challenging for them suddenly became approachable, and even enjoyable. The students were engaged, asking questions, and most importantly, trying—without fear.\r\n\r\nThese materials have become part of our daily routine. My ESOL IA especially loves the activity cards and uses them consistently in small groups and one-on-one instruction. They are thoughtfully designed to guide students through the learning process while also supporting teachers with leveled questions and answers. I love them too! The Writing and Reading Comprehension Centers have been wonderful tools to help our students strengthen their understanding and express their ideas with more confidence. And the Learner Games Library has brought so much joy into our classroom: students are learning vocabulary, idioms, prepositions, and grammar concepts while laughing, collaborating, and fully engaged.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom feels different. Learning is more interactive, more supportive, and more joyful. These resources have truly transformed the way we deliver our lessons and how our students experience learning English. As we continue building their skills, I am excited to see them grow not only as learners, but as confident individuals who feel proud of their progress. Thank you for making this possible for us.","fullyFundedDate":1766704617782,"projectUrl":"project/helping-my-students-thrive-through-langu/9844431/","projectTitle":"Helping My Students Thrive Through Language Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. García","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10320732"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_69386","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":422,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":73,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":44,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":36,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":10,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":69386,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Sunray Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Sunray Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/pasco-county-school-district/sunray-elementary-school/69386"}
