Many of them immediately wanted to explore and asked questions about how they could use the items in their learning. Their enthusiasm made the classroom feel energized, and it encouraged them to participate more actively in the lesson.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our students now have the opportunity to learn in ways that are more interactive and meaningful. As we continue this project, the next steps will involve using these resources during our upcoming freetime to build on the skills they have already begun practicing. Students will continue working in small groups and sharing their discoveries with one another. These activities will help strengthen their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence in the classroom.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly made a difference in our students' learning experiences, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to provide them with these engaging tools. When the students saw the new materials, it truly made their whole day. The excitement was immediate and their creativity blossomed. The paper, gel pens, new paint brushes and the yarn have brought so much light and creativity to our art center. The LCD tablets have become a quick favorite and preferred form of learning how to write their letters, numbers and practicing drawing their shapes. \r\n\r\nI've loved watching students work together, practice their patience and celebrate learning new skills. The new book has also sparked new, great conversations about how we can contain our wiggles. With these little moments, I can see them building their confidence and love of learning at this early age. \r\n\r\nBecause of your support, my class has been able to access hands-on tools that help support their growth every single day. Your kindness has truly made a difference in the life of my little learners.","fullyFundedDate":1764800872677,"projectUrl":"project/colorful-learning-for-curious-kids/9924944/","projectTitle":"Colorful Learning for Curious Kids","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Courtney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10098788_orig.jpg?crop=2305,2305,x0,y184&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754414964836","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10098788"},{"teacherId":8373700,"projectId":9912495,"letterContent":"The new supplies have transformed how our students explore, create, and collaborate each day. The magnetic building sets, including the panda blocks and MAGNA-TILES Forest Animals, are now a favorite choice during center time. Students use them to design forests, build animal habitats, and create their own imaginative worlds. One memorable moment was when a small group worked together to build a forest \"home\" for the animals, testing which structures were strong enough and adjusting their designs when pieces fell. This led to rich conversations about balance, shapes, and teamwork, all while students were fully engaged in hands-on STEM learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the magnetic blocks, their excitement was immediate. They gathered around the table, eagerly choosing animals and pieces, and began building right away. Some students carefully planned their designs, while others experimented freely, stacking and rearranging pieces to see what would happen. The materials encouraged even our quieter learners to join in, share ideas, and work alongside their peers.\r\n\r\nThe art and classroom supplies have also made a big impact. The colorful cardstock, scissors, and adhesive tape are used daily for drawing, designing signs for their structures, and creating animal stories to go along with their builds. The storage bins help keep materials organized and accessible, allowing students to independently choose what they need and take responsibility for clean-up. Together, these supplies have created a classroom environment that inspires creativity, problem-solving, and joyful learning, and our students continue to discover new ways to use them every day.","fullyFundedDate":1763850466361,"projectUrl":"project/art-and-stem-projects/9912495/","projectTitle":"Art and STEM Projects","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Akison","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8373700_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1647309569080","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8373700"},{"teacherId":8645851,"projectId":9255588,"letterContent":"Thank you for all of your donations! Every time that we got a new shipment in, I opened the new books in front of the class and they all screamed with excitement! They keep asking for quiet times in class when they can sit and read a new book. With the addition of our classroom library we are now able to have quiet afternoon readings. The students vote on a chapter book and every afternoon, they all sit on the carpet and I am able to read them a few chapters. This is also very helpful to my students that do not have the ability to read yet but still enjoy listening to a new story. This would not have been possible without your support. When the supplies arrived, my students lit up with excitement. \"Are these really for us?\" one student asked, wide-eyed as they held up the new items. The whiteboards were a game changer for our math sessions students could finally focus without distractions, and their confidence grew as they tackled lessons at their own pace. We turned math review into fun, collaborative games that got everyone participating and thinking out loud.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was during our fraction's unit: using counting cubes and colored pencils, students created visual models and explained their strategies to the class.
