Your generosity has provided us with much-needed snacks and storage racks to keep these resources organized, accessible, and ready when our students need them.\r\n\r\nThese snacks are being used for much more than an occasional treat. In our school nurse clinic, having quick access to food can be especially important for students with diabetes and other medical needs. We are now able to keep appropriate snacks readily available to support students who may experience low blood sugar, need food with medication, or have another health-related need during the school day. We can also assist students who may have missed breakfast or need nourishment before returning to class.\r\n\r\nOur students were excited and grateful when they saw the new supplies. The storage racks have helped us create an organized area where snacks can be easily seen, accessed, and restocked. Knowing these resources are available also gives our students reassurance that their health and well-being are important to us.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding moments is being able to provide a student with what they need right away instead of worrying about whether we have an appropriate snack available. After their immediate need is addressed, the goal is always to help them feel better and safely return to learning whenever possible.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these resources to support students with diabetes and other medical needs while keeping our snack supply organized and stocked throughout the school year. These materials are helping us create a school environment where students' health needs can be addressed so they can focus on learning and succeeding.\r\n\r\nYour donation has done much more than fill our shelves.
