The Lakeshore Learning and Research seating set has created a comfortable and modern area where my students can gather, collaborate, and relax. Whether they're working together on a group activity, sharing stories, or simply taking a moment to decompress, this space has become a central hub of connection and calm. It's more than just furniture; it's a foundation for meaningful interaction and emotional growth.\r\n\r\nIn a classroom where accessibility and comfort are essential, this seating set has helped me create an environment that feels like home. My students, many of whom face unique challenges, now have a space where they can come together and feel like a family. The thoughtful design and inclusive layout allow every child to participate fully, fostering a sense of belonging and dignity. Thanks to your kindness, our special education classroom received several Lakeshore leveled book kits, which have truly transformed our reading experience. With these resources, my students are now able to participate in small group reading sessions that foster collaboration, engagement, and growth. It has been incredible to watch them dive into stories that resonate with them and feel empowered by their ability to read and understand the material.\r\n\r\nEven more inspiring is the independence my students have gained since receiving these books. Many of them are now choosing to read on their own, exploring new genres and authors with enthusiasm. Their confidence has soared, and reading has become a source of joy rather than frustration. As the boxes of materials came in earlier this school year, my students were really curious. I explained to them that I asked for supplies for our art room and some very generous people donated money to buy those materials. Their curiosity quickly turned into excitement. They watched as I opened the boxes and I explained what each one was.\r\n We use our supplies almost daily. I have seen the students develop the desire to keep their art space clean because we have our own broom and dustpan. They love seeing who can get the dirtiest wipe as they clean the tables. The colored baskets and containers make organizing supplies and artwork for each class easy and accessible. The kids are especially excited about the paint rack. We have done some watercolor painting and used the rack a couple of times, but they are eager to paint and use it some more. Both my students and I appreciate each and every one of our donors.
