The math tools you provided have made an immediate and meaningful impact in our classroom. My students are more engaged than ever—eager to explore, manipulate, and truly understand mathematical concepts in ways that weren't possible before. Your generosity has created hands-on learning opportunities that help my students stay focused, curious, and confident in their abilities.\r\n\r\nSince receiving these materials, I've watched students who once struggled with abstract ideas come to life during lessons. They now use the tools to solve problems collaboratively, check their thinking, and take ownership of their learning. It has been incredible to see how these resources have transformed their attitudes toward math and helped them build stronger foundational skills. Thank you for believing in my students and investing in their success. I apologize for the delay in getting this message off to you! I am grateful for the donations you submitted on behalf of my project for my classroom! \r\n\r\nWOW! Everything has been implemented into Room 13 and the yoga ball chairs have been a hot item in my classroom. The kids enjoy using them when they can choose where they want to work when they are not at their desks. Flexible seating options are key to student learning success for some as it allows them to work with partners, friends, and become acquainted with new classmates. The yoga balls allow for some movement when working. My students have been doing a nice job of rotating them so that all have the opportunity to use them throughout the week! \r\n\r\nThe easel has been awesome! It is used everyday in almost every area of the curriculum. I can lower it for students to use when we are using vertical surfaces for small group collaboration! The storage cart for supplies is great as it gives students independence to replenish their materials when they run low. \r\n\r\nThank you for contributing to my Back To School Project. Before summer break, my students had the chance to use the phonics games and reading comprehension materials you helped provide, and they absolutely loved them!\r\n\r\nThe phonics games brought so much energy and joy to our small group time. The comprehension materials helped them better understand stories, identify key details, and build their confidence as readers.\r\n\r\nThese resources made a big difference in our classroom last year, and I'm so excited to start the new school year with them ready to go! My students have had the opportunity to learn and discover using vertical whiteboards in the classroom! It has been an amazing transformation of collaborative work, especially in math! Students work together to problem solve and show their thinking in different ways for all their classmates to see. \r\n\r\nVertical surfaces gives students the ability to get up and move around. In Science, they had the ability to design habitats using the vertical surfaces, designing with color. This went along with our Animal Adaptations unit. They presented their work to their classmates as a group. Their work was AMAZING!!!\r\n\r\nWith our very cold winter, students used the whiteboards and markers to free draw during indoor recess.
