My students carefully packed their belongings while learning about travel preparation, cultural etiquette, and geography. For many, this was their first time leaving the country, so the moment was truly life-changing. Seeing them take ownership of their packing and talk about what they were most excited to experience such as new foods, historic landmarks, and meeting people from different backgrounds was unforgettable.
