The students began planting their vegetables seeds in our ELA classroom while they read the book, Seedfolks. \r\n\r\nOnce the seedlings sprouted, they transplanted their seedlings to our outdoor containers that we received with the grant. They also felt special to be celebrated for doing well. Unfortunately sometimes the only time a student is recognized is when they are misbehaving or making a mistake.
