With the new badminton racquets and birdies, we're taking our Physical Education classes to the next level. My students are thrilled to have access to quality equipment, and it's been amazing to see them learn and grow. We're currently working on developing hand-eye coordination and teamwork skills through fun drills and games. The students are really enjoying the new gear and are eager to improve their serves and volleys.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new equipment, they were beaming with excitement! They couldn't wait to get on the court and try out their new racquets. One of my students, who was initially struggling with the old equipment, was able to hit a perfect serve with the new racquet and shouted \"I can do it!\" with pride. It's moments like these that make teaching so rewarding. Moving forward, we'll be focusing on strategy and game play, with the goal of hosting a class tournament. The students are learning valuable lessons about sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance, and I'm grateful to our donors for making it possible.","fullyFundedDate":1740007644209,"projectUrl":"project/smash-success-a-badminton-training-prog/9046970/","projectTitle":"Smash Success: A Badminton Training Program for Elementary Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. V","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9278186_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724259141705","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9278186"},{"teacherId":9464768,"projectId":9249474,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous support in funding our \"Book Haven\" project. Your donations have made a direct and significant impact on our 11th and 12th-grade students by providing a fresh and relevant collection of books for our classroom library. \r\nThe books will be used for our second quarter reading sessions.\r\n\r\nUnlike younger students, our juniors and seniors often seek books that reflect their complex experiences and help them explore their place in the world. Your gift gave them a chance to each have their own copy of the book we are to read instead of them sharing which limits them from owning their learning. \r\n\r\nYou have sent a powerful message to these young adults: that their education, their interests, and their intellectual curiosity are valued by the wider community. The bubble machine was a huge hit, and we used it to create a fun and interactive way to get our students moving and engaged. During the event, we set up a bubble station where students could run through, play, and pop bubbles while participating in various physical activities. This added an extra layer of excitement and joy to the event, and our students absolutely loved it!\r\n\r\nWhen our students first saw the bubble machine, their eyes widened with wonder and excitement. They couldn't wait to get their hands on the bubbles and start playing. The machine quickly became a focal point of the event, with students giggling and cheering as they chased after bubbles and tried to pop them. It was wonderful to see our students having so much fun while also getting exercise and practicing their social skills.\r\n\r\nThe bubble machine was more than just a fun addition to our Field Day event – it helped create a sense of community and camaraderie among our students. As they worked together to pop bubbles and complete challenges, they built relationships and developed essential teamwork skills. We're grateful to our donors for making this experience possible, and we're already looking forward to next year's Field Day event!","fullyFundedDate":1745847090435,"projectUrl":"project/field-day-excellence-supporting-student/9212960/","projectTitle":"Field Day Excellence: Supporting Students Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. V","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9278186_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724259141705","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9278186"},{"teacherId":10014652,"projectId":9320336,"letterContent":"My students love the new books. We have been using them to examine some of our governing bodies and the decisions made by our government today.\r\n\r\nThe students have been engaged with the novel because they feel it relates to their thoughts and feelings today. Most are quite surprised to learn when it was written.\r\n\r\nOne way we have used this novel is by creating comparison charts between the book and current events. We also keep a book journal to reflect on how specific chapters have impacted us.
