With these resources, students are actively participating in hands-on activities that teach essential life and vocational skills such as sorting, organizing, preparing, and serving food. One special moment was when students worked together to create snack packs for staff—carefully counting items, assembling each bag, and delivering them with pride. This experience allowed them to practice teamwork, communication, and independence while also feeling a sense of purpose and accomplishment.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the snacks and food items, their excitement was immediate and heartwarming. Many of them were eager to jump in, asking questions and volunteering to help organize and prepare the items. For some students, simply being able to engage with familiar foods in a structured learning environment increased their confidence and willingness to participate. It created opportunities for social interaction, decision-making, and even trying new foods. The joy on their faces showed just how meaningful these experiences are.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we are now expanding our learning by incorporating more real-world applications. Students are beginning to take part in creating simple menus, practicing basic money skills, and preparing items for small classroom-based \"sales\" and service opportunities. These next steps will continue to build independence, responsibility, and job readiness.
