One of the most popular titles was Hidden Valley Road. While a difficult read (even for a college-level course), students engaged in robust discussion about both the choices Kolker makes in revealing information about schizophrenia as well as the strategies they used to read such a challenging--and heartbreaking--text.\r\nThe books you've provided are working beyond my classroom lessons. When my AP groups wrapped up their unit, several students came forward to borrow titles that their classmates had read. What could be better than students showing curiosity and engagement with their world (and choosing to read outside of class)? Say Nothing, in particular, has been checked out by multiple students. \r\nThank you for making all of this possible.
