The new resources have already helped us make our health lessons more hands-on, collaborative, and engaging for students.\r\n\r\nOne of the projects we used the red and green paper and glue sticks for was our relationships lesson. Students worked together to create \"red flag\" and \"green flag\" posters identifying behaviors that can be warning signs of an unhealthy relationship or positive signs of a healthy relationship. Having the materials available allowed students to be creative while also discussing and applying what they were learning to real-life situations.\r\n\r\nThe new whiteboard markers have also made a big difference in our classroom. Instead of students simply sitting and listening to a lesson, we are able to use small whiteboards for collaborative activities, team challenges, and quick checks for understanding. Students are working together, discussing their answers, and actively participating in the learning.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using these resources throughout the school year as students work through topics such as mental health, nutrition, relationships, and substance use.
