With these donations, I was able to run 2 sessions of after school programs lasting 12 weeks! The students were able to use their imaginations and creativity to design their own crafts. Specifically, the group loved making their own clay designs. They loved it so much the first session spent 4 weeks creating with the clay! They made magnets and trinkets to bring home. I am so excited to use the clay with the next group of students! The students were so sad when the club ended, but it made me realize the importance of arts in the classroom and the opportunity to find ways to help with anxiety outside the classroom.
