Your contribution has transformed how my students engage with both the mathematical and creative side of healthcare. The TI-30X calculators have become essential tools in our healthcare math unit, students are now confidently calculating medication dosages, converting between measurement systems, and analyzing patient data with precision. What excites me most is watching students who typically struggle with math suddenly understand why these calculations matter when they're solving real-world healthcare scenarios. The storage baskets have also significantly improved our organization. By organizing our supplies at each table, every student has immediate access to markers, rulers, and glue sticks, which means less time searching and more time learning.\r\n\r\nThe creative projects have been just as impactful. Students are using the markers and art supplies to design visual healthcare education materials, everything from colorful posters to creating the perfect environment with all the dimensions of health. \r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just give us supplies, it gave our students the tools to see themselves as future healthcare providers, problem-solvers, and educators. Whether it is creating themed backdrops, signage, or props for events, the ChompSaw allows students to work more efficiently while producing clean, professional looking pieces.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the ChompSaw, they were honestly excited but also a little intimidated. For many of them, it was their first time using a tool like this. That quickly turned into confidence and pride as they learned how to use it safely and saw the quality of what they were able to create. It has given them a stronger sense of ownership over our school events because they are building the environment themselves rather than just putting things together.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students are already planning more detailed and creative decorations for upcoming assemblies and events. They are thinking bigger in terms of design and layout because they now have the tools to actually bring those ideas to life. The materials have been used daily for close reading, annotation, structured conversations, and writing practice, helping students take a more active role in their learning and build confidence in expressing their ideas.\r\n\r\nFor my English learners in ACLE II, these resources have made a powerful difference. Students are using vocabulary games, discussion tools, and graphic organizers to practice academic language in supportive, structured ways. These materials have allowed me to better differentiate instruction so that all students can access grade-level content while continuing to develop their language skills.\r\n\r\nIn my English 12 classes, these tools have strengthened students' ability to analyze texts, organize their thinking, and produce clearer, more developed writing. From the posters and poster paper to the individual whiteboards and markers, the students have enjoyed the materials!\r\n\r\nI recently completed a lesson where the students were partnered up and were assigned a multi-step equation to solve. In order to assess the students' work, they were required to complete their work on the individual whiteboards and hold them up when they finished. This allowed me to quickly and efficiently assess their understanding. As an added benefit, the students found it fun and engaging to use the whiteboards, markers, and individual erasers rather than completing the assignment on paper.\r\n\r\nFor a review activity prior to a test, students were provided large poster paper \"post-it\" notes in which they were required to complete a practice questions from their review packet. Instead of talking about ideas, they are building them. During our most recent assembly planning session, committees sketched full backdrop designs, mapped out timelines in color-coded charts, and created large-scale spirit posters entirely by hand. Watching students spread out on the floor with fresh materials — collaborating, revising, and proudly holding up finished drafts — was one of those classroom moments that reminds me why tangible resources matter. Creativity became visible.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, there was genuine excitement. Students immediately started organizing the supplies, testing colors, and brainstorming projects they could now fully execute. Several commented that it \"felt official\" — like their ideas finally had the tools to match them. For many of them, having access to quality materials at school makes a real difference. It signals that their work matters.\r\n\r\nRight now, students are using these resources to prepare for upcoming schoolwide events and service initiatives. They are designing promotional campaigns, creating spirit visuals, and building materials that will also support our applications for state recognition and leadership awards. The next step is expanding this creativity into community service projects — producing awareness posters, event signage, and appreciation materials that directly impact our campus culture.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide supplies. It provided confidence, ownership, and pride. It allowed students to move from planning to producing — and to see their ideas come to life in color.","fullyFundedDate":1768490733117,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-for-student-leadership/10000383/","projectTitle":"Supplies for Student Leadership","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. LeBaron","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8108812"},{"teacherId":9092586,"projectId":9994599,"letterContent":"My students have been incredibly engaged with the new resources, and they've already made a noticeable impact on our classroom environment. The TI-Nspire calculator have allowed students to explore concepts more deeply, especially when analyzing functions and checking their reasoning. They've become more confident in verifying their work and making connections between algebraic and graphical representations.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest shifts has come from something simple—the addition of a chair at my small group table. This has allowed me to pull more students at once for targeted spiral review, which has been a game changer. I'm able to work with a small group on foundational skills while the rest of the class continues independently, creating a more supportive and efficient learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboard markers have also been a huge success. Students use them daily to quickly write out steps, revise their thinking, and collaborate with peers. During whole-class discussions, students have been using pens to present their solutions, which has helped them slow down, be more intentional, and clearly communicate their reasoning to others.\r\n\r\nA recent classroom moment that stood out was during a spiral review activity. Students rotated through problems and then presented their solutions to the class using pens and whiteboards. The level of discourse was higher than usual—students were asking questions, justifying their steps, and even correcting misconceptions collaboratively. It was a great example of students taking ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue using these tools as we build toward more complex problem-solving and review for upcoming assessments. The next steps include deeper application of concepts, especially through collaborative problem-solving tasks where students explain and defend their thinking. These resources are helping create a classroom where students are actively engaged, thinking critically, and supporting one another in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1768586447477,"projectUrl":"project/alg-2calc-resources/9994599/","projectTitle":"Alg 2/Calc Resources","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jacobs-Harlan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9092586_orig.png?crop=576,576,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1688658665596","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9092586"},{"teacherId":10402875,"projectId":10013171,"letterContent":"Thanks for the classroom supplies that were donated.
