Some of these students have never finished a chapter book before. We have about dozen students that were part of the club from last year. The books you helped buy and the fruit snacks were very impactful. \r\n\r\nWe had second graders- 5th grade students of all reading abilities. Some days the students took turns reading out loud and some days we listened to an audio read aloud that Danny DaVito read. The audio book help the students to hear and see and the same time and make word connections without having to decipher what they were reading. The students were all sad today when we finished the book. In two weeks they will run the Junior Gate River run that is 1 mile long. Because of your kindness, my first grade students now have access to tools that help create a more focused, organized, and supportive learning environment. Whether they are taking assessments, completing independent assignments, or simply choosing a quiet space to concentrate, these partitions help students feel comfortable, confident, and ready to do their best work.\r\n\r\nThe classroom doorbell has also become an invaluable tool in our daily routines.
