The Captain Underpants books you provided are the \"prize\" checkout for when they get a bingo. The books are on a shelf that has a stop sign so they know they can't checkout those books until they have followed certain steps. \r\n\r\nThe 3-5th graders had their own set of books they were allowed to get for their motivation to keep checking out different types of books but the second graders didn't. The students that have finished their bingo were so excited to checkout a brand new \"fun\" book.\r\n\r\nThe donation of biography books allows me to introduce the younger Hispanic students to people from their culture. \r\n\r\nThe donation of Junie B Jones allows the beginning readers to start on a series and give them momentum.\r\n\r\nI love that I have some fresh beginning reader paperbacks so that when the ones I have wear out that I have a ready replacement.
