These texts introduce important literacy skills such as identifying central ideas, analyzing arguments, understanding multiple perspectives, and connecting informational reading to real-world issues. Students are practicing close reading, annotating, and discussing current events with a level of confidence and curiosity that has grown tremendously since the magazines arrived.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading now looks active, engaging, and student-led. Students eagerly pull out their magazines during independent reading time, and discussions have become more thoughtful and energetic. They are making meaningful connections between the articles and their own lives, asking deeper questions, and even debating ideas with evidence from the text. The magazine format, visuals, and relevant topics keep them motivated, even those who used to hesitate when it came to reading.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who struggled with comprehension before are now showing noticeable improvement. One student who rarely participated now raises his hand to share insights from the articles. These moments remind me of how impactful your support truly is. Your donation did more than provide reading materials; it gave my students confidence, curiosity, and a renewed love for learning.
