My students and I are truly grateful for your generosity and support. The math posters and magnetic X and Y coordinate grid have become a wonderful addition to our classroom. We have placed the posters around the room so students can easily see and refer to them during lessons, independent work, and quiz preparations. Whether we are studying geometric concepts, area, trigonometric functions, or graphing, students now have visual examples and formulas they can refer to whenever they need help. We also use the magnetic X and Y coordinate grid during graphing lessons to plot points and demonstrate functions. Having these hands-on and visual resources makes abstract math concepts easier for students to understand and connect to what they are learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were excited and happy to have additional resources in the classroom. What has been especially rewarding is seeing how often they use them, even when I am not directly referring to them during a lesson. The posters have become everyday anchor charts rather than materials used just once and put away. I often see students looking at them when solving problems, completing assignments, or reviewing for quizzes. Instead of always waiting for the teacher to provide an answer, they can use the examples and formulas on the walls to guide themselves. The magnetic coordinate grid has also made graphing demonstrations more interactive and has helped students visualize how points and functions are represented on a coordinate plane. These small changes have made a meaningful difference in helping students become more confident and independent in their learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue incorporating these resources into our daily lessons, practice activities, and classroom reviews. Our next step is to build on the concepts we have learned, strengthen problem-solving skills, and prepare for the End-of-Course (EOC) examination. We will continue encouraging students to use the posters as learning references and apply what they see when working through more challenging math problems. Our hope is that, by having these resources available every day, students will become more comfortable with math concepts and feel better prepared when it is time to demonstrate what they know. Your generosity has given our students more than just classroom materials; it has given them tools they can rely on throughout their learning journey. Thank you for believing in our students and helping make math more engaging, accessible, and meaningful. From our classroom, thank you for making a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1777982654638,"projectUrl":"project/bring-math-to-life-with-interactive-visu/10187343/","projectTitle":"Bring Math to Life with Interactive Visual Learning Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cecilio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10476844_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1790643884239","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10476844"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_3645","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":735,"numTeachers":41,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":15,"percentWhite":18,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":62,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"17.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":56.0,"schoolId":3645,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Spring Creek High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Spring Creek High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/wayne-county-public-schools/spring-creek-high-school/3645"}
