Watching students carefully budget their earnings and make thoughtful choices about how to spend them has turned academic progress into an exciting and positive experience.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the treasure box filled with new items, their excitement was immediate and contagious. There were smiles, cheers, and lots of curiosity as they explored the different options. For many of my students, these rewards are a powerful reminder that their effort matters. Even students who are usually hesitant or need extra encouragement have been more motivated to stay focused and push through challenging lessons.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue working toward their individual literacy and math goals while earning and managing their brain bucks each month. This system not only keeps engagement high, but also reinforces real-world math skills like counting, saving, and decision-making.
