The students were absolutely thrilled to have a dedicated space where they could explore writing, practice writing their names, and look through our word books. Since introducing this space, the writing center has become the most popular center in my classroom. The students are consistently waiting in line for their turn to visit the center, eager for the opportunity to use the materials and write notes and letters to their families. It has been wonderful to see how excited and motivated they are to engage in writing activities and express themselves through their work.\r\n\r\nAt this stage in their development, my young students are appropriately using scribbles and letter-like formations to communicate their thoughts and convey messages. Although they are still in the early stages of learning how to represent their ideas through writing, they have all made tremendous progress in writing their names. It has been so rewarding to see their growth and increased confidence as they continue to explore writing in their own ways. Having a dedicated writing space has also encouraged them to become more interested in learning letter sounds, as they are beginning to recognize that understanding these sounds can help them sound out words and write them independently. While they are still in the beginning stages of this exciting exploration, I am thrilled to see their growing curiosity, enthusiasm, and motivation to develop their writing skills. I am so excited to see how they continue to grow and what is to come as they build upon these important early literacy skills!","fullyFundedDate":1784111534321,"projectUrl":"project/from-scribbles-to-stories-empowering-pr/10327060/","projectTitle":"From Scribbles to Stories: Empowering Preschoolers to Share Ideas","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Werdann","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10526853_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y70&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1780833188882","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10526853"},{"teacherId":10227954,"projectId":10082070,"letterContent":"My students loved everything we received in this ordered.
