Because of your generosity, we now have a classroom library filled with books at a variety of levels, allowing every student to find something they can access and enjoy. Many of these books also reflect diversity and inclusion, which has been so meaningful for my students as they begin to see themselves and others represented in what we read.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading looks like students gathered together on the carpet, in small groups, or independently exploring books that match their interests and abilities. I've seen students who were previously hesitant become more confident and excited to pick up a book. One of my favorite moments has been watching students choose books on their own and proudly share what they are reading with their peers.\r\n\r\nIn addition to books, the sensory tools, fidgets, and hands-on materials have made a huge difference in helping my students stay focused and regulated throughout the day. These supports allow them to better engage in lessons and build independence, especially in our CSS classroom setting. Even the snacks have helped meet basic needs so students can come to learning ready and focused.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting impact on both the academic growth and daily experience of my students. Each items that we received will be utilized to the fullest. The stools are awesome and the colors are perfect. The white board will be utilized to put positive daily message on them. The students will also have access to doodle on the whiteboard. The paper towels and cleaning supplies is much needed due to the season is changing and we needed to clean continuously so no one will get sick in the classroom.The students love the snack that were sent.
