Our old headphones were big and clunky and the students hated to use them. They always complained that they hurt their ears. It was a struggle to get them to wear them to complete their work on the iPads. \r\n\r\nOur new headphones are amazing! They fit the students perfectly and no one has complained when it was time to put them on. The Southern View Stars are shining with pride and satisfaction. Each day students work hard to be kind, show compassion and respect to everyone in our school building. Students earn star cards for exhibiting positive social behaviors in the classroom, on the playground in the cafeteria and hallways. Students collect these star cards and twice a month are able to shop at the School Store. \r\n The school store is kept stocked based on donations. Some items are in used but good condition and limited in quantity. Your donations have made it possible for us to keep the school store stocked with multiples of the highly sought after items and add variety. The lower grade levels are loving the playdough that was provided through this donor choose. The older students really enjoy the teen/adult coloring books and colored pencils. And ALL the STARS love the stuffed animals Huggers that they can wear around their wrists. \r\n While we know that kindness can be free, students often need reminders, incentives and motivation to continue to exhibit positive social behaviors during tough times.
