With the money you donated, I was able to purchase tri-fold boards that our students used to display their future career interests. \r\n Students were each given a board and a set of requirements that were to be included on their boards. They researched their careers for the future and then displayed their information however they liked. This gave each individual student a chance to use their own creativity to display their information. \r\n Once the boards were completed, I hosted a Reverse Career Fair in our gym. Five community members along with our high school principal and superintendent were asked to be judges. For the first hour of our fair, each student was interviewed by one of the judges and then scored accordingly. During the second hour of the fair, our students in grades 5th - 12th and the community were allowed to come walk through the fair and see all of my students' furture career choices. \r\n This was a wonderful experience for the students and I received so many compliments on how great it was to see this side of them. The new paint, paint brushes, construction paper, and bulletin board paper have already made such a positive impact on our students and the projects they create each day. During Genius Time, students were able to use the new materials to bring their creative ideas to life in ways that would not have been possible before. The excitement and pride they showed while working on their projects was amazing to see, and the supplies encouraged students to think creatively, work collaboratively, and express themselves through hands-on learning experiences.\r\n\r\nOur fifth graders also recently wrapped up their Abraham Lincoln unit, and the new art supplies allowed us to create engaging and meaningful projects to go along with our learning. Students loved having the opportunity to combine history and creativity while making unique displays and artwork connected to the unit. Having access to quality materials helped make the lessons more memorable and exciting for our students.\r\n\r\nWe are so thankful for the generosity and support that made these opportunities possible for our classroom. These supplies will continue to benefit our students for years to come as we create more hands-on, creative projects that inspire learning and build student confidence. The generosity of the community, and even strangers alike, never ceases to amaze me. \r\nMy students are always overjoyed to see new items. They get excited about even the littlest of things. They have been really enjoying having headphones in the classroom. They love being able to listen to the chapter we are studying as another means of soaking in the information. They also love being able to use them to listen to music to help them focus during study times. \r\nAnother hot item around the room has been the whiteboard sets. During my study hall time, or any time that a student has finished early, they are allowed to work on any homework they might have. They really enjoy using the whiteboards to help them work on their online math IXL lessons. It cuts down on paper use, and is fast and easy for making corrections. \r\nI have been so thankful for the cleaning and organization supplies. I am a very organized person, and I feel that many of my students benefit from my classroom being calm, clean, and organized. Students are eager to solve problems, erase, and try again without fear of making mistakes. The bright new turn-in trays have also brought a burst of color and structure to our classroom routines, making organization smoother \r\nfor everyone.\r\n\r\n\r\nYour kindness has not only provided materials but also inspired my students to take pride in their learning space. We immediately incorporated them into our weights and PE classes, and they have completely transformed our workouts. For example, during a recent strength-training session, students were able to rotate through stations more efficiently because we finally had enough equipment for everyone. This has allowed for smoother workouts, more individual focus, and the chance for every student to push themselves at their own level.\r\n\r\nThe reaction from my students was priceless—their eyes lit up when they first saw the new equipment, and several commented that they felt like \"real athletes\" now that they had access to quality training tools. The excitement in the room was contagious, and since then I've noticed an increase in motivation and effort. Students who were once hesitant in the weight room are now more engaged and confident in their abilities.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue to use the weights daily in both PE and athletic training sessions. These resources will help build strength, confidence, and teamwork throughout the school year. One of the first projects we did was teaching students how to properly track their progress with the new equipment. They loved being able to set personal goals, and several commented on how much better it feels to use updated, safer weights. One student told me, \"It makes me feel like a real athlete training in a college weight room.\" Moments like that show just how much of an impact your generosity has already had.\r\n\r\nWhen our students first saw the new weights, their faces lit up. They couldn't wait to get started, and there was a lot of energy and excitement in the room as they tried them out for the first time. Many students expressed that having access to new, quality equipment makes them feel valued and motivated to work harder.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for our students include continuing to build strength and endurance while learning proper form and discipline in the weight room. We're also working on connecting weight training to sports performance and lifelong health habits. It makes my job even better that there are people like you willing to help out when we need you. \r\nThe project was a surprise to my students. When I received the packages, they were immediately excited and curious about what we had recieved! My students have frequently told me the enjoy the calming atmosphere of my classroom. Having more of these comfort items around has been so nice! They love the low lighting, (lamps and lanterns) and it is very helpful to those of us with glasses. The overhead lights sometimes create a glare on our glasses, making it hard to see. \r\nIt was so nice to restock our craft/project supplies! I was so excited that we were able to do more hands on projects with the poster board and other supplies. My 8th Grade students created posters about Inventions from the Industrial Revolution. It was a refreshing change from our usual book work!\r\nThe kick bands have been a hit. Some students use then to get some energy out, some students have shorter legs and like to rest their feet on them, some like putting their feet behind them and feeling the gentle, calming pressure on their ankles.
