These folders are great for encouraging a professional mindset and practicing decorum while we are on stage. The pocket at the front of the folder is great for putting a color-coded card to distinguish which section the folder belongs to. As the director, I can make performance copies of music and have the folders ready for use on performance days, which reduces the likelihood of students forgetting their music. \r\n\r\nWhen we received the folders, the students were excited to use them for the first time during the Winter Concert back in December. We will also be using them for an upcoming performance on January 24 at the Fayetteville Marksmen Hockey match, which we will perform The Mandalorian theme for Star Wars Night. These folders have helped our students feel like they are a part of something they can be proud of, and it's obvious when they are wearing their matching polos and new performance folders. Thank you for helping us reach one of our goals this year. We are grateful and inspired by your generosity. My students are now more excited than ever to learn about ancient Greece — they see the myths, gods, and heroes come to life through Percy's adventures. Instead of memorizing facts from a textbook, they get to experience history through stories that feel real and exciting. It's amazing to see how much more they understand and remember when they can connect the myths in the book to the culture and beliefs of ancient civilizations. Our class discussions have become more thoughtful and livelier, and students are making connections between what they read and what we study every day.\r\n\r\nWhat's even more special is how these books have turned many of my reluctant readers into enthusiastic ones. Students who used to avoid reading now beg for \"just one more chapter.\" They're sharing theories, asking questions, and some are even exploring other books about mythology on their own. The Percy Jackson series has done more than just teach them about ancient history — it's helped them fall in love with reading, think more critically, and see that learning can be an adventure in itself.","fullyFundedDate":1754246576040,"projectUrl":"project/igniting-a-love-of-reading-through-myth/9473892/","projectTitle":"Igniting a Love of Reading Through Myth and Adventure","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Brown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9213865_orig.jpg?crop=1361,1361,x0,y117&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692749896068","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/svmsbrown"},{"teacherId":5002185,"projectId":9591278,"letterContent":"My Bobcat Band and I can't thank you enough for your donations!
