Using Canva, students selected personal quotes that reflected their goals, values, or dreams as they prepare to move into 7th grade. They designed their own digital backgrounds, added their chosen motto, and used the button maker to transform their work into wearable art. These motto buttons became a powerful reflection of their voices and personalities—something they are proud to wear and excited to show off during our graduation and awards celebration.\r\n\r\nWhile our original plan was to explore a variety of science and social studies themes through button design, this project helped lay the groundwork for future creative learning experiences. Students gained hands-on experience with digital design and simple machines, while also learning to communicate ideas visually. The pride they felt in creating something meaningful and personal was truly inspiring. This project not only boosted their confidence but also fostered a sense of unity as they head into the next chapter of their academic journey.
