The burners, pots and pans were all utilized to get the students prepared for culinary competition. Our 2 teams placed 2nd and 3rd last week in the state competition. The next step is to use the tools to showcase the skills the students have learned but inviting other members of the school to learn the techniques used in the creation of the dishes.\r\nMy hope is that the availability of portable cooking equipment will allow the students to bring their passion to others around our school, and also to the middle schoolers in order to ignite their passion. We are so grateful for your generosity. As a teacher, we sometimes have to find alternative methods of getting the tools and experiences our students need.
