We used hot cheetos and takis to target students on the verge of improving their attendance rate. We notified them in advance of how many days they would need to attend without being absent in order to earn their treat and meet their goal. Takis and hot cheetos were then distributed to students during class to help other students take notice! This helped us when the next round of students were notified of their short-term goal.\r\n\r\nAlthough we typically hold longer term challenges (typically every 25 school days), identifying shorter periods of time for students to attend school daily can help the goal feel more manageable, and give them something to work toward more quickly.
