With your support, the student was able to successfully film and edit a short film. With the camera, they were able to access a higher quality of film production. This gave the student both a chance for growth as they were challenged to learn how to use the new equipment, but also the opportunity to create a piece of art that reflected the professional level of quality that they were interested in working toward.\r\n\r\nMy student worked incredibly hard this year on their Capstone project. Doing these projects allowed all students to explore their own areas of interest, potential career opportunities, or community or personal growth or development. The students have expressed that this project helped them learn more about themselves, and it taught them that it is essential that they become resourceful, step outside of their comfort zone, and challenge their own shortcomings in order to succeed. This student's project in particular has allowed them to identify their college major as film studies.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support. My student would not have been successful without you, and it helped to grow my program for the incoming classes as anyone interested in a project that requires the use of a quality camera now has one! With your support, the students were able to utilize tri-fold posters as a part of the Showcase for presenting their work with the school and community. Tri-fold posters were essential for this Showcase as each student was set up at their own individual table, and this allowed them to set their poster right on the table. Additionally, tri-fold posters are a cost burden for some families as their prices run higher than a traditional poster.\r\n\r\nThe students worked incredibly hard this year on their Capstone projects. Doing these projects allowed students to explore their own areas of interest, potential career opportunities, or community or personal growth or development. The students have expressed that this project helped them learn more about themselves, and it taught them that it is essential that they become resourceful, step outside of their comfort zone, and challenge their own shortcomings in order to succeed. Their posters were a space to collect this data and show the community these accomplishments.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support.
